  • Most of our programs are run in partnership with social service agencies including the Victoria Brain Injury Society (VBIS), W̱SÁNEĆ First Nations, Camosun College and others. Reach out if you are a school, social service, or charitable organization interested in learning more about providing unique learning experiences with horses for your clients.

  • No, we will introduce you to the horses and teach you general horse safety. Our herd members have been specially chosen for their safety and friendliness. Our trained staff are here to help you.

  • No, there is no riding in our programs but rest assured, you’re not missing out! There is so much to enjoy when building a relationship from the ground.

  • Our facility is entirely outdoors, though we do have cover for rain. Dress for the weather and wear sturdy footwear. Nothing more is needed.

  • All of our group programs are fully funded and offered for free. Additional funding may be available to organizations for transportation, outerwear and footwear.

  • The farm is located in Saanichton not far from the Cordova Bay Golf Course, about 20 minutes from downtown Victoria. The farm is not directly on a bus route; the nearest bus stop is a 20-30 minute walk.
